After the bitter disappointment of cancelling this years edition, MIHWA are delighted to announce the dates for the comeback edition in 2021. After extensive discussions with Inline Hockey Deutschland, MIHWA and the organising committee, Bad Tolz was confirmed as available from 7th-12th June 2021.
This is a great opportunity for Bad Tolz to prove what an excellent venue it will be to host our unique tournament. The availability of two rinks immediately adjacent to each other will preserve a unique atmosphere never before experienced since the Veterans championship joined the Masters every year. The organisers believe this unique opportunity to play and socialise together will create an extra buzz around each match, and make for a great experience.
Players, team staff and fans can all be together, eat together, drink together, and celebrate the games together!
This opportunity is not taken lightly, especially for the Aussies, who travel so far every year since the very beginning, and adding their unique antipodean enthusiasm to the games. MIHWA committee member and prominent leader in Australia Inline, Duane Voss said "Some of my players have unforgettable memories from attending this tournament, even though sometimes it's a hard competition for us. The lessons we take home, and the memories and friendships leave a legacy that benefits everyone immensely". They come back every year at great cost, which says a lot about the positive impact of the event, which is now attracting ever more interest from national teams everywhere on the globe.
MIHWA are really excited to return ever stronger from the aftermath of the global pandemic we are facing now, and wishes everyone good health and safe passage through the lockdown, until we can meet again in the stunning backdrop of the Bavarian Alps at Bad Toltz next year.
