Message from the President, “With Immense Joy I Welcome You All Back”!
Dear hockey friends,
Two months to go until our fantastic event and with immense joy I welcome you back to Italy, to Alto Adige, to Brunico. We pick up the show where we left off on June 4, 2022, at the modern and stunning Intercable Arena. “The World Cup” 2023 will be a new big event, with many new features, with new teams and with fantastic new ideas. I would like to thank all the players, the staff and their families for their trust in MIHWA and in our project, we thank you for the affection and esteem you have always shown.
MIHWA would like to thank the Staff of the Intercable Arena, the Bruneck Kronplatz Tourismus and the Municipality of Brunico for their precious and fundamental support for the 2023 World Cup.
A special thanks goes to the MIHWA Staff and to the "Team" of Referees, two fantastic groups of volunteers who will work hard for a week to guarantee us a high-level show. I would like to personally thank Stefan Zisser for his availability, his precious collaboration and professionalism in advising us and organizing the event with his exceptional knowledge of tourism in this region.
Finally we thank WORLD SKATE, for the fruitful and fundamental collaboration in all these years.
This incredible machine of volunteers, this union of associations, this group of professionals who make their considerable talent and experience available, have made it possible to create such a unique event, and to show our sporting spirit and brotherhood to the whole world. We are proud to demonstrate through our movement together that unity makes the strength and the difference.
A special thought this year goes to SACOS and Alain Blanchet, who are celebrating 20 years of the French brotherhood and thanks to them and their idea of veterans we are now here at the 2023 World Cup.
A special thought goes to the families at home, whom we warmly thank for allowing their husbands and partners to be absent for so long. Of course, we appreciate and extend our greetings to our fans, to our friends, who we will guarantee live coverage of the whole event, so you can follow us minute by minute!
