After a great Blues game, the Italian Legends are defeated 5 to 1 by France at the Brunico Masters. For Italy, the dream of the semifinal thus fades, and the Azzurri will therefore play for fifth place. In the first period it is France who weaves the plots of the game, and closes it ahead on 2 to 0. For Italy, few chances are created while Ivan Dalle Ave is often called into question.

At the beginning of the second period, France scored the third goal and the Azzurri immediately tried to react. However, it is always the French who become dangerous and find the fourth goal. The Azzurri manage to score, thus trying to reopen the match. However, France remained in control of the game and found the fifth goal in the final minutes.
