At the end of a hard-fought match, Italy was defeated by the Czech Republic at the Brunico Masters. The blues are defeated by 6 to 3 but remain in the game until the end. Down by three goals, Italy tries to reopen it but suffers the Czech extension again. In the second period it is always the Czechs who stretch, with the Azzurri who, having found the third goal, try to reopen the match. The defense and the Czech goalkeeper didn't concede any more goals. It ends 6 to 3.

The first chance is on Kala's cue with Dalle Ave who parries. Less than a minute passes and Stehlík calls the blue goalie into question. At 4 and 10 break away from Zolovkins who keeps Italy going. At the beginning of the second half, there is immediately an opportunity for each other. After 63 seconds, Italy shortens the distance by scoring the 5 to 3 with Valduga. At 1:48 Stehlík makes the 6 - 3. The Azzurri try to respond with 18. At 4 and 10 a nice shot from halfway by Zolovkins. The teams lengthen and Italy is still trying to reopen the race. The Azzurri try to increase the pressure and call the Czech goalie into question. The teams face each other openly and both create several good chances but the score does not change. Italy looks for the fourth goal but can't find it, and the match ends on 6 to 4 for the Czech Republic.
