MIHWA introduces ALL STAR TEAM to debut in 2024!

MIHWA are introducing some new and exciting featured for the 2024 edition.  As always, we offer a tournament for players, and following our mission to "let players play" we have introduced some improvements to our tournament to accommodate exhibition matches that allow players who are denied a place at the games, for whatever reasons.  Players without a team can be selected to play for the MIHWA World Team, as a unique showcase for our event, and a great way for players from un-affiliated national organisations to bring home their experiences and stories.  What better way to recruit new countries to the game, and build MIHWA into a sustainable future.  We recognised that integration within the tournament structure was problematic for some, so this year we are introducing a feature that was tried and tested many times at the European friendly Masters tournaments, called the ALL STAR TEAM!  This year, all participating national federations will be invited to select players (on a strictly voluntary basis) to play in the unique ALL STAR TEAM.  ALL STAR players will receive a special one-off Jersey for 2024, and have the experience to play with others from different nations during the tournament.  The special honour of playing in the all star team aligns well with our emphasis on the playing experience, and the fraternity and brotherhood that we wish to celebrate during the World Cup Week.  Every year this team will be a unique experience, and will generate some very special moments and memories.  Details will follow for selection and schedule to all national team managers.  I can't wait to see this year's ALL STAR team!
