MIHWA World Cup set to be bigger and better than ever!

The new edition of the Masters Inline Hockey World Cup is in the critical build-up towards the greatest ever Inline Hockey event at International Level.  For the Year 2023, MIHWA are planning to host their greatest competition yet, with more teams, more nations, and more fun than you can find anywhere at this level.  Once again, the Intercable Arena in the gorgeous Italian Alps will be home to this spectacular competition.  Currently confirmed attendees are the classic original nations: Great Britain, Czechia, Italy, France and Australia.  Then from the modern MIHWA era we have Slovakia, Canada, USA, Germany, and Slovenia.   Finally, the New expansion including confirmations from Brazil, Sweden, Columbia, and brand new for 2023, Argentina! What a fantastic lineup of nations, over 14 National Federations represented from across the globe.  With a little bit of luck, and some hard work by dedicated volunteers and leaders in the Inline Hockey Game, we are also awaiting last minute confirmation from Hungary, Switzerland who have both been before and are working on a restructure to return to this level.  We are also hopeful to include Mexico and Spain pending their confirmations soon.  This could mean up to 18 nations competing at the very highest level, in the best venue for the sport.  It hopes to be a showcase for what is possible at the amateur level of international sport, and plays an important part of the ongoing work to develop and promote the sport of Inline Hockey worldwide.  "We are very proud of our little tournament, and especially of our unique event.  It is rare and special to have such high level of sporting competition, alongside such a warm and friendly atmosphere among everyone involved.  We are fierce competitors, and even more fierce brothers and sisters, all together in celebrating our special sport"  Peter Wirt, MIHWA Media and Communications Director.
